What is an LNG Fueling Station?

LNG fueling stations are suitable for fueling liquefied natural gas into various types of trucks and tanker vehicles as well as other means of transportation. The implementation of the fueling stations can take into account a wide range of requirements imposed by the installation site. For example, the tanks can be positioned vertically or horizontally.

Choosing an LNG Fueling Station

We assist in selecting an LNG fueling solution that meets the requirements of your application. Contact our representatives for more information.

Mono Fueling Station

The mono fueling station is designed for fueling LNG into trucks and tanker vehicles. It typically includes:

  • LNG tank
  • Low-pressure pumping unit
  • Saturation evaporator
  • LNG fueling device
  • Electronic control panel

Combined Fueling Station

This solution is suitable for fueling both LNG and L-CNG (pressurized liquefied natural gas) into various trucks and tanker vehicles. The combined fueling station includes:

  • LNG tank
  • Low-pressure pumping unit (LNG)
  • Saturation evaporator (LNG)
  • LNG fueling device (LNG)
  • High-pressure pumping unit (L-CNG)
  • High-pressure evaporator (L-CNG)
  • High-pressure tanks (L-CNG)
  • L-CNG fueling device (L-CNG)
  • Electronic control device
  • L-CNG (Liquefied-Compressed Natural Gas) is natural gas that is stored at the station as LNG. It is converted to CNG before fueling into vehicles.

Modular Fueling Station in a Container

The modular fueling station intended for installation in a container is preassembled at the factory. The package includes all the components required for LNG storage and fueling, as well as automatic monitoring for the production process. The maximum capacity of the included tank is 20 m³, but additional separate tanks can be installed alongside the fueling station if desired.

The modular fueling station is designed with the following applications in mind:

  • Reception and storage of LNG
  • Increasing LNG pressure from 5 bar to 8 bar
  • Fueling LNG tanker trucks

LNG Fueling Pump

LNG at 8 bar pressure:

  • -130°C (average)
  • Maximum flow rate: 100 kg/min
  • Flow meter, OIML R81 & R117-1 certifications, error margin for liquefied natural gas 0.35% / error margin for vaporized natural gas 0.35%
  • Modbus connection – PC, EAS1 protocol
  • SPS Modbus log for recording and reviewing fault data
  • Display showing information in the format ( _____/kg), mass (kg) and price (_____)
  • Storage capacity for data on 150 fills and 250 errors
  • Voltage 230 V AC, 50 Hz, 300 W, protective glass IP54
  • Housing made of stainless steel – grounded and painted
  • Automatic freeze protection, filling and process bypass mode, and emergency cutoff
  • Measurement of fueling pressure and temperature
  • ½” filling hose with pipe guard and fire protection
  • ½” return hose with pipe guard and fire protection
  • JC Carter or Macrotech fueling nozzle
  • Grounding connector
